Solo Exhibition at the MARKK Museum, Hamburg on occasion of the 8th Hamburg Photography Triennial.
This project reimagines an archival album in the MARKK Museum collection. The interventions made here are microscopic photographs of these original albumen prints from 1852 to 1868. The microscopic photographs (portions in gold tone) which reveal the microbial as well as climatic conditions suffered by the album are collaged back onto a scanned copy of same.
The exhibition consisted of four different bodies of work
1. Breaking Eggs in Vietnam Series
2. The Albumen Story
3. The negative album
4. An imperial gift
